Testimony team had a wonderful time at the 25th Bath Film Festival, highlighted by the nomination for the prestigious IMDb New Filmmaker’s Award.

The fantastic line-up of judges included Col Needham, Otto Bathurst, Lizzie Francke, Wendy Mitchell and Katie Swinden, pictured below with BBC’s Laura Rawlings.

Testimony was very well received, and even though we didn’t bring home the award, it was a wonderful priviledge to have been there! We’d also like to congratulate the winners, Une passion d’or et de feu, directed by Sebastien Pins, and the winners of the Audience Award, Chinese Treachery, directed by Jake Balfour-Lynn.

The Official Bath Film Festival Blog shared a delightfully positive review of Testimony, calling it an “incredibly cinematic piece from a director so early in their career.” It also stated: “Production values are sky high in this emotional short from director Kamila Dydyna” and called the film “Superbly acted.”

Bath Film Festival was a fantastic end to a beautiful first year for Testimony team and we’re now looking forward to more festival screenings around the world in 2016!
