October has been our busiest month to date, with five festival screenings in three countries! It seems very suitable as October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (#DVAM). We’re thrilled and grateful to be able to bring awareness to the issue though our festival screenings.
On October 1st, Testimony was screened in Luxembourg during the British and Irish Film Season, before the feature film 45 Years.
On October 10th, we had two screenings, at the Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival in Dublin and IndieCork Film Festival. The selections at both festivals were impressive, our favourite shorts being a French comedy Dad In Mum and Irish drama Today by Tristan Heanue.
The following week Testimony was wonderfully received at the New York City Independent Film Festival on October 16th. Our audience was just fantastic and we’re so grateful for the warm reception and personal responses to the film from the audience members. It was an unforgettable experience. Testimony was screened after the beautiful feature film Girl On The Edge by Jay Silverman.
And just yesterday, Testimony was screened outside of competition at The Richard Harris International Film Festival in Limerick, in a program featuring brilliant shorts like The Hunt, and our personal favourite Love Is A Sting, beautiful story of the friendship between a mosquito and a lonely writer.
After a short rest, we’re back with the screening of Testimony on November 7th at the Waterford Film Festival and AS Film Festival in Rome the following week. Stay tuned for more news coming soon!
